This blog is devoted mainly to satire on american politics, which is my favorite source of entertainment, and am a big fan of Jay Leno, Jon Stewart, etc. This will also have other entertaining posts revolving around puns, movies, weird news and humour.

Investment advice
I believe this was written some time in 2001. In todays times, Nortel, Enron and WorldCom should be changed to Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns and Wells Fargo. The conclusion, however, will still remain unchnged.
"If you had bought $1,000 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49."
"With Enron, you would have $16.50 left of the original $1,000.
With Worldcom, you would have less than $5 left.
"If you had bought $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the bottles for the 10-cent deposit, you would have $214. Based on the above, current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle."
